The Story
We’re Camryn and Elliot, and we’re building Marin County a communal bathhouse in the heart of Fairfax. Inspired by our love of water, from rivers and hot springs to saunas and bathhouses around the world, Grotto is our way of bringing that tradition home. Inside an old bank building at the base of Mt. Tam, we’re creating a space with soaking pools, saunas, a cold plunge, and spa treatments — but more than that, a place to gather. A bathhouse where neighbors, friends, and families can relax, connect, and be part of a timeless ritual of communal bathing.
