A Warm Social Space
At the base of Mt. Tam inside an old bank building in downtown Fairfax Grotto is coming to life.
At its heart is the Grotto, a large warm reflection pool for quiet soaking and restoration. Nearby, a spacious hot tub invites conversation and relaxation, while the cold plunge offers a refreshing reset. Guests can move between a traditional wood sauna and a steam sauna, experiencing the benefits of both dry and wet heat.
Beyond the baths, Grotto will feature massage and spa treatment rooms for deeper renewal, as well as lounges and gathering areas where guests can unwind, connect, and spend time together. The communal bathhouse is designed to balance restoration and social connection — a place to soak, sweat, and belong.
